Over 25 years ago, I was having frequent gall bladder attacks and dreading but considering surgery. I had a precious pharmacist friend who was skilled as well in nutrition who advised me to try A-F Betafood, not only for my attacks but regularly with meals, particularly those heavy in protein, to replace missing natural digestive enzymes. It saved my gallbladder and has helped me to continue avoid digestive issues for years. I take an extra one or two occasionally if I have a heavy protein meal. I have tried other digestive enzyme products over the years but Standard Process has this one perfected.
