The branched chain amino acids (BCAAs) are leucine, isoleucine, and valine. These essential amino acids provide nutritional support for athletes and individuals seeking optimal lean muscle mass. Branched chain amino acids are unique in that they are not metabolized by the liver.

BCAAs promotes healthy muscle mass. BCAAs may play a role in athletic support by promoting muscle nitrogen, enhancing alanine and glutamine production, decreasing lactate production and boosting energy while attenuating protein breakdown These actions help to sustain muscle work capacity and recovery.

Isoleucine and valine are produced from corn dextrose fermentation. Leucine is originally extracted from protein and is extensively processed and purified.

This caises kidney problems

by Deep Dive with Trainer Dave

It is crucial that all the essential amino acids be present to build any protein. Its impossible to rebuild proteins with only 3 essential amino acids.. It would be like you building bikes that have to go to the stores that day. If you dont have all the parts to complete all the bikes and you have no storage facility.. those bikes they get junked. Similarily if we do not have the all the amino acids to create certain proteins. The body has no storage facility for amino acids so they get converted into glucose! Most of BCCAs taken without other amino acids will get coverted to glucose which create a sugar spike and Thats the Energy Boost that is created from taking BCCA. Which should be a concern for most individuals
