NOW® Bone Meal Powder is naturally derived from cattle raised in the United States. Bone Meal Powder is an excellent source of Calcium. Calcium in bone meal occurs as a natural calcium phosphate compound known as hydroxyapatite. NOW® Bone Meal Powder is tested for heavy metals such as lead and aluminum to assure the lowest levels possible.
Adequate calcium throughout life, as part of a well-balanced diet, may reduce the risk of osteoporosis.
Suggested Usage
Take one rounded teaspoon daily, mixed into milk, fruit or vegetable juice.

Great Calcium Source

Looked at several sources for pure bone meal, as this is an ingredient for recipe to make raw dog food. Usual company that obtain bone meal from was out. Have used other ""Now"" products so decided to give this a try. Very uniform quality, fine ground powder, and has no odor. Blends well into food.
