Most Brewer's Yeasts are derived from the fermentation of beer: Such fermentation involves using grain (such as rice or wheat) malt, active yeast and the dried flowers of hops. Although efforts are made to debitter the yeast prior to final drying operations, most Brewer's Yeasts are, nevertheless, left with a bitter odor.
After fermentation, the yeast is collected and dried using special techniques to preserve its protein, vitamin and mineral content.
Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement for adults, take two (2) tablespoons (30 g) daily. May be sprinkled on cereals, salads or incorporated into stews, soups, sauces, gravies, juices or baked goods.
To assure freshness and potency, store at room temperature 59-86F (15-30C). Store away from heat, light and moisture.

I started using yeast for my sons as children after reading Adele Davis' books. As grown ups they confess to having the healthest Airdale ever because they fed her their yeast concoction every chance. Involved in judo, they claim that drink made them so mean they won their matches. At 77 years of age, a diabetic for 40 years, I read Kimberly Snyder's Toxic Solution, lost 35 pounds and feel great. She recommends brewer's yeast. Hoping to keep the weight off, I decided to try it and quite by chance picked Solgar off the shelf. Surprise!!! It tastes good! It satisfies! It's easy! At two tablespoons a day, I am into my third can. I notice the cracks in my tongue are shrinking, I believe A. Davis said that condition reflects a deficiency in B vitamins.

This has been my favorite Brewers yeast for a long time.... Especially now during times of stress it keeps my nervous system calm and I will do it more than once a day if I need it.... I do not miss a day. It is an essential to my nutritional regimen.

This product will boost your body's immunity and it will give you energy but the taste of it was a bit strong for me. It has a cheesy taste that it took awhile for me to get used to.
