Beta-Carotene is derived from carrots and is a natural, non-toxic precursor to vitamin A. The body produces the amount it needs of Vitamin A from Beta-Carotene without over-dose or excess build-up (toxicity).  The introduction of selenium in the production of CAROTAVIT™ at the appropriate stage during the manufacturing process has been shown to greatly increases anti-oxidant activity.
Beta-Carotene aids in the growth and repair of body tissues and helps maintain smooth, soft skin. It helps protect the mucous membranes of the mouth, nose, throat and lungs. Beta-Carotene protects the soft tissue and all linings of the digestive tract, kidneys and bladder. It aids in the secretion of gastric juices necessary for proper digestion of protein and assists in the building of strong bones and teeth, the formation of blood and the maintenance of good eyesight.
