Iodine is absorbed by endocrine glands and supports the formation of hormones. Specific endocrine hormones have the ability to cross cell membranes, thereby supporting all bodily cells, and encouraging metabolic function by enhancing mitochondrial activity and enzyme synthesis, particularly in the muscles and liver.
Pure Encapsulations Iodine is from potassium iodide. Iodide is derived from salt brine. Hypo-allergenic plant fiber is derived from pine cellulose.
Suggested Usage
Pure Encapsulations recommends: 1 capsule, 1-2 times daily, with meals.

Excellent iodine supplement

This is an excellent pure iodine supplement. I use it because I don't eat fish or use iodized salt and it supplies the iodine my body needs and also adds some potassium.
