Good Iron for Runners

by Jackie

I buy this for my teenage daughter, a distance runner. I like the fact that it contains ferrous sulfate to support her ferritin levels. It's also convenient that it is in liquid form, as she has trouble swallowing pills. Love that it's non-GMO!

May Induce Headaches for Some

by E

I was hoping this form of iron would make it easier for me to remember to take every day since I could mix it in a beverage, however it just gave me terrible headaches. I tried to give my body a chance to 'adjust' to the liquid form, however after a week or so (this was some time ago so I'm not exactly sure) I finally discontinued use. I went back to regular tablets and have had no further ill affects. These may work for some but perhaps others like me are just sensitive to liquid or certain formulas of things (I've had issues with St John's Wort as well which I reviewed). So if you have had similar issues with things in the past you may want to pass these up.

Juries still out!

by Ben -

Tastes slightly minerally but not too awful. I wont know how it works until my next blood work in about 3 months!
