EDTA can bind to certain metals, allowing the body to remove them. R-Lipoic acid is added for its ability to help regenerate the antioxidant vitamins C and E, supporting the action of EDTA.
EDTA is most effective when it can act on a cellular level to bind with heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, and cadmium. Lipoic acid can support EDTA by extending the activity of the antioxidant vitamins C and E, raising levels of energy-rich CoQ10, and increasing production of our master antioxidant, glutathione. Lipoic acid can support the body through the entire chelation process. The sodium R-lipoate in this formula offers highly efficient uptake.

Suggested Usage
Adults: Take 1 teaspoon by mouth once daily. Hold in mouth 30 seconds before swallowing.
Repeat to desired dosage or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Take on empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals.

Use adequate mineral supplementation, especially zinc, when using this product.
