Magnesium is a mineral that is critical for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission, and bone mineralization.  It is a required cofactor for an estimated 300 enzymes.  Among the reactions catalyzed by these enzymes are fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis, and glucose metabolism.  Magnesium status is also important for regulation of calcium balance through its effects on the parathyroid gland.

Suggested Usage

Mix 1/4 level teaspoon of powder into at least 6 ounces of cold water or clear liquid.
Take once daily with a meal.
Pure Magnesium Oxide Powder can increase the temperature of liquids upon contact; therefore, the recommended serving MUST be mixed into at least 6 oz. of cold liquid to neutralize this reaction prior to ingestion.

Magnesium Oxide Powder, 8 Oz, NOW Foods

This product is great to take when constipated. It works! I also gave it to my mother to try it and she had good results. I also recommend to purchase all of your products from Natural Healthy Concept. Great Customer Service and Speedy Delivery!

severe swelling and pain in stomach 3 days

Oxide move slow though your intestinal system so I though to take if for helping with higher up blockage. Instead it bloated and caused severe pain through my whole intestinall tract. The Magnesium is not absorbed because it passes so slowly through the tract. Thought this would help. Ended up having to be flushed out. Got my money back. Don't try this unless you don't have M.S. or talk to your Dr first.
