5-methyl-tetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF) supplementation is not recommended concurrently with methotrexate cancer therapy, as it can interfere with methotrexate's anti-neoplastic activity; however, 5-MTHF has not been shown to interfere with the anti-inflammatory activity of methotrexate. An individual taking methotrexate for psoriasis or rheumatoid arthritis can safely take a supplement containing folate.

I live with PTSD and my Naturopath recommended this to me because he felt that my body was making ""fight or flight"" chemicals but not dispersing them. This helps me a great deal. I no longer have daily anxiety, and when I have a stress situation, my response seems to be processed more fully. This supplement has in many ways, given me my peace of mind back.

Methyl Guard Plus - a game changer!

I have been using methylated B vitamins since January 15. I had to take 4 - 6 pills at every meal for me to feel any effects. Within a week of using Methyl Guard Plus I had noticed marked a makrked difference in how I feel (much more energy - less fuzzy head) and in the number of pills I have to take at each meal. I take half as many, which makes it easier for me to manage. Love this product!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with this product. My naturopath prescribed this for my high homocysteine levels. My body is having a hard time adjusting to it though. It makes me feel great, at first, followed by major anxiety, headaches, irritability, and IBS-like stomach issues. We keep trying to adjust the dose. I'm comfortable with one capsule, for now, as two was producing the negative side effects. I've read so many amazing reviews on this product, so I'm really trying to hang in there, and hoping my body will adjust. I've also read that methyl folate just isn't for certain people. I may be one of them. I would still recommend this product, and company. I've had nothing but great experiences here with all of my orders! Thank you.
