i have kidney stones and have to take potassium and drink lemon juice. these have both even though i use more citric acid than what is included i do not have to drink as much lemon juice on the side. unfortunately i do not know how affective they are unless i get or do not get a kidney stone. these have a decent amount of potassium, they are a great price, they are about the same size as my prescription pills but they are actually smoother and easier to take and way cheaper than my prescription. i have already re-ordered a 6 months supply.

Prior to taking these, I had a dr. prescription for potassium citrate and took 2/day. The pills were much larger than these and really difficult to swallow. I switched to this brand because my prescription, even with insurance, became much more expensive than buying this supplement out of pocket.
