Source Naturals® SAMe is a stable, bioavailable form of S-adenosyl-L-methionine. These tablets are enteric coated and blister packed for consistent quality and optimal bioactivity. SAMe is present in every living cell in the body and plays and important part in many critical cellular functions.
A number of clinical studies have demonstrated that SAMe supplementation supports joint comfort, function and mobility in the spine, hips and knees. Preliminary research supports that SAMe may work by supporting the production of proteoglycans, which are important components of cartilage.
Other studies have demonstrated that SAMe can help support a positive outlook. It is able to cross the blood-brain barrier, where it affects the synthesis of neurotransmitters, and helps maintain normal membrane fluidity. SAMe works together with the B-vitamins, folic acid in particular, making it important to obtain adequate amounts of the B-vitamin complex from diet and supplements.
Suggested Usage
1 tablet 1 to 3 times daily. Take tablets on an empty stomach.

Other Ingredients: cellulose, mannitol, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate, citric acid, silica, stearic acid, triacetate, sodium starch glycolate, croscarmellose sodium, titanium dioxide and yellow ochre.
Suitable for vegetarians. Contains no yeast, dairy, egg, gluten, soy or wheat. Contains no sugar, salt, preservatives, or artificial flavor or fragrance.
Warnings
If you are pregnant, may become pregnant, breastfeeding or are taking antidepressant medication, consult your physician before using this product.
Use this product under medical supervision if you have bipolar disorder.
In a small percentage of people this product may cause nausea or gastrointestinal upset. If you experience discomfort, discontinue use.

Great for Joints & Mood!

Taken daily this product is an enormous mood enhancer and my sore joints also notice a difference. I've stopped taking this product several times due to cost but always come back to it and am amazed at how beneficial it is for me!
