Thyrodex T-150 from NuMedica is a dietary supplement that uses natural glandular therapy to help maintain normal cellular and thyroid tissue functions.
The supplement contains BSE-free, bovine-derived glandular thyroid components and several herbal and nutritional ingredients. Its key ingredients are L-tryosine (a type of amino acid, which is a building block of protein) and iodine. L-Tyrosine and iodine assist in the process of converting thyroxine to the more bioactive triiodothyronine (T4 to T3), which stimulates the thyroid gland.
Healthy thyroid glands produce a thyroid hormone that controls organs in the human body. Iodine is a trace mineral found in some vegetables and seafood that is essential for normal thyroid functioning. Some people lack enough iodine in their diet and may benefit from a supplement that includes the mineral. Other ingredients in Thyrodex T-150 include vitamin A, vitamin B-2, calcium, magnesium, zinc, manganese, potassium and other natural ingredients.

I have been using Thyrodex T-150 for many years. I take it 1 hour after taking my bio identical thyroid. Then I wait 1 hour before eating or drinking anything except water. It really has made a big difference. Everyone is different, so what works for me may not work for another person.... thyroid is tricky, but once it gets balanced.... you feel like yourself again.
