High Absorption Yet Gentle Magnesium
by LadyLiberTEA -
This expensive type of Magnesium Oxide touts high absorption, and Oxide form does not accelerate bowel movement like Citric or Elemental. So among my Magnesium supplements, I take one of this every evening to balance the day's Calcium intake with Magnesium preventing Calcium constipation and stones; and calming relaxing including aches and cramping, for quality rest.

Sucromial processing doesn't seem to work for me
by Captain Planet -
This product contains Sucromial magnesium oxide. The Sucromial process covers the magnesium oxide in a "phospholipids plus sucrose esters of fatty acids matrix." Magnesium oxide is typically considered to be one of the poorer-absorbed forms of magnesium, and the Sucromial process is intended to make it much more absorbable.
However, the Sucromial magnesium oxide gave me loose stools just like plain old magnesium oxide, so there didn't seem to be much of a difference. Perhaps it works for other people, but for me the cost difference isn't worth it.
