I live in Oregon where the sun is often behind clouds, and I take this vitamin daily. I am a small woman, and I feel that the dose (2000 IU's) is about right. I take one capsule per day. I chose this brand - Metabolic Maintenance - because I had come to know and like it through other supplements that I take. It is a brand that my naturopathic doctor selected for me and seemed to trust.
