I use this supplement every day to keep the cold sores away. The Winter time with the extra stress seems to contribute I take the Lysine, and sometimes I double up. Capsules are easy to swallow which is really important to me.

It's magic. It appears to keep cold sores away. Every Spring and Fall since I was a kid (now 67), I had about 10-14 days of blistering cold sores. My Naturopath but me on the L-Lysine pills daily and I have been free of cold sores. No more embarrassing fat lips and scabs.

My Nutritionist suggested this product to help me avoid getting cold sores when the season's change. My lips would flare up every Spring into Summer and Fall into Winter. It would take about 2 weeks each time of my lips looking fat and swollen and then blistering and scabbing. Besides hurting it looked terrible. Now I just take my 2 lysine's a day, ad no breakouts of cold sores. My body most be lacking necessary ingredients as if I forget to take them for a day or 2....it's a breakout again....I have only forgotten once in 5 years. Fast learner. This stuff works like a charm.

If you suffer from the Herpes simplex virus, look no further. This brand Lysine will keep them at bay and not allow the virus to blister up. At minimal you will get a pin head bump that heals within two days or less. I am so grateful I have found this product as it keeps these embarrassing sores away!

This really does seem to lessen the severity of cold sores. They just seem to heal faster now that I have Pure-Lysine on hand. My husband and teenage daughter have taken it as well for a few days while a cold sore was starting. The cold sores never turned into any thing to worry about! It lasts a long time because we only take it when we feel like one is starting and then only for a few days. Perfect!
